Junior Reading
 |
| BRAWDY YFC's winning junior reading team of Shane Boswell, Owain Cochran |
THE sequel proved as good as the
original for Brawdy YFC in the
junior reading competition.
Brawdy followed up their success last
year by claiming the junior reading title
once again thanks to the team of Shane
Boswell, Owain Cochran, and Lewys
James.
The reading competition is for members
aged 14 and under who each read a passage
from a set text chosen by the judge, which
this year was Dai and Let Live, the autobiography
of television star Dai Jones.
One of the team also acts as the chairman
to introduce the book and their fellow
members.
This year the best chairman trophy was
awarded to Daniel James, of South Pembs
YFC, with Sara Edwards from Eglwyswrw
YFC named best reader.
The second placed team was Eglwyswrw
YFC, with South Pembs third.
