THERE was a feast of
entertainment at the
Pembrokeshire YFC
senior after dinner speaking
competition.
Members were wheeling and
dealing, said My, My Delilah
and went under the hammer at
a wide range of mock dinners
to test their abilities.
Toasts of the night were the
winning team from Llawhaden
YFC of Sarah Edwards, Alice
James, Anwen James,
Rhiannon Llewellin and Peter
Llewellin, who was also named
best chairman.
Michael Harries, from
Brawdy YFC won the best
speaker trophy, with fellow
member Claire Johns named
best seconding speaker. The
most promising speaker shield
was awarded to Alun Griffiths,
of Clynderwen YFC.
Brawdy YFC were placed second,
with South Pembs third.
