| That's entertainment: Judge Cllr David Price presents the overall trophy to Clynderwen's Judith Watson, Kate Richards and Alun Griffiths. |
Pembrokeshire YFC has been thoroughly entertaining recently, holding two successful entertainment competitions.
In the English section of the competition to stage a 30-minute entertainment show, Clynderwen YFC took the top honours, ending 12 years of dominance by two rival clubs.
Since 1996, Llysyfran and Llawhaden YFC have shared the spoils at the county entertainment, pantomime and drama competitions, but this year they had to be content with coming second and third respectively, as Clynderwen swept to victory. South Pembs YFC were placed fourth.
Clynderwen's production of Reverend Noah's Climate Change Challenge won best overall performance, with Alun Griffiths, who played Rev Noah, named best individual performer.
The best costume trophy went to Llysyfran, with Brawdy YFC winning the technical achievement cup and Keyston YFC taking home the best act prize.
Alun Griffiths went on to repeat his success at the Wales finals, taking home the trophy for best male performer, with Clynderwen just pipped to the winning post by one point.
In the Welsh section of the competition, Fishguard and Eglwyswrw clubs both proved they've got talent, with Fishguard performing their take on a traditional noson lawen', and Eglwyswrw basing their performance on the format of a television talent show.
After two excellent performances at Theatr y Gromlech, Ysgol y Preseli, Eglwyswrw emerged triumphant edging home ahead of Fishguard by just two marks.
The individual awards were then shared between the clubs, with Aled Johnson, of Eglwyswrw named best male performer and Carys Williams, from Fishguard taking the best female performer title.
Eglwyswrw will now go on to represent Pembrokeshire at the Welsh finals in Felinfach, Ceredigion.
